The historic West End is Dallas' premier entertainment district in the heart of Downtown. The area is home to 25+ restaurants and bars offering highly acclaimed eats & drinks from steak & seafood to fine mexican cuisine to world famous chicken salad, the West End has it all. Intermixed among the restaurants and bars are the Dallas World Aquarium, Dallas Holocaust Museum, Sixth Floor Museum, The "Old Red" Museum, Dallas Segway Tours, Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, Internationally reknowned Mambo Cafe and House of Blues.

The West End is experiencing a re-birth and 2008 has brought the West End back to the forefront of local entertainment destinations for both North Texans and visitors alike with increase in the number of public events in the area and a campaign to bring more conventions to Dallas.

The West End's re-birth is the goal of The West End Association, a member organization of both merchants and property owners are working together to make the West End an exciting, fun and safe place to spend quality time with friends and family.
